Below is the equity curve of one of my range breakout system (on a 5 minute timeframe)
Un capitale di 200K investito nel 2006 si è moltiplicato per 6 ~ milioni nel 2016e il profitto continua a crescere. Si tratta di una crescita di 30 volte in 10 anni senza aggregazione. Se avessi permesso il compounding, sarebbe stato un sistema da miliardi di dollari!
The rules of this system are pretty simple and don’t require any special skills.
Buy Rule: Current High price is greater than Last 5 Highs
Short Rule: Current Low price is less than Last 5 Lows
Cover and Sell conditions are the same as Buy and Short conditions respectively. The stop loss is based on 25-period ATR and there is no fixed target per trade. Più semplice di così!
So in a nutshell, you do not have to use fancy indicators and 100’s of chart patterns to build a super successful profitable system. Even a simple system which derives Buy/Sell signals based on OHLC values can do wonders in any market conditions.
At Accademia di lezioni commerciali, we teach several such trading systems along with their AFL codes. An AFL code is an executable program that runs in Amibroker software which lets you scan the market live based on your trading strategy and even helps you backtest the strategy on historical data.
